Director Forest Morgan
Forest is a Colchester born actor and director. Having directed other darkly comic plays such as The Pillowman and Radiant Vermin, Forest is excited to bring Ross Howard’s Our Walk through The World to Colchester audiences for the first time since its London debut in 2013.

Production Week 2nd to 8th November 2025 (two shows on Saturday 8th)
Rehearsals These will be a mixture of Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays from 18th August.
Read through Friday 9th May at 7pm for potential auditionees. There will be a chance to discuss the vision for the production during the evening. No registration required.
Auditions Auditions are scheduled for Tuesday 24th and Wednesday 25th June.
Synopsis
Our Walk Through the World consists of six short plays by Ross Howard examining the absurdities, tragedies and small triumphs of modern life. Dark, irreverent and very funny, Our Walk through the World was first performed at the Old Red Lion Theatre, London in October 2013.
In Tilly (An Introduction), a young woman hopes to become a surrogate mother. Jellybeans are vital for a man’s career in Rules of Assortment, and a football manager introduces his latest acquisition in Our Prospects for The Coming Season.
A family reunion takes place in Relinquish, while in The Viewing a couple are shown their dream home to a soundscape of gunfire and screaming. Finally, in Frisky & The Panda Man, a conservationist struggles to rationalise his feelings for the last female panda on earth.
