The Theatre is registered as a charity, the Theatre Arts Action Trust.

As a Grade 2 listed building, it is maintained to a high standard, whilst meeting our artistic objectives and generating income. While the bulk of our income comes from the hire of the theatre and rehearsal spaces, we are continually looking for funds to develop the theatre – be it the creative work we do or our fixtures and fittings.

Any contribution to our funds to help us maintain the high standard of work both on and off stage is much appreciated.

Join as a Headgate Friend today and pledge your support towards the work of the Headgate Theatre both on and off the stage. By becoming a Headgate Friend you are supporting your local community theatre’s creative programme, the on-going maintenance and development of our grade two listed building and enabling us to engage more closely with our local community. The Gift Aid scheme allows charities to claim back the tax paid on donations, which means we get 25% more out of the money you give to us.
