Limber & Stretch, a project shaped from suggestions made in our volunteer focus groups, ran for an trial period earlier this year. Classes focused on flexibility, co-ordination, cardio and balance, where participants can do as much or as little as they wish. At the end of the classes refreshments were served and the chance for a chat! Specifically aimed at individuals who are put off exercising, the gentle limber and stretch exercises with our fitness instructor Louise were suitable for all ability levels. The trial of six limber and stretch sessions they were well attended and received excellent feedback. 90% of the attendees stated that attending helped increase their confidence in attending public events once again.
