Colchester’s favourite community theatre is back with a bold and brilliant new Autumn Season 2025 – and there truly is something for everyone at the
Headgate this year!
Launching today, the brand new season brochure showcases an incredible mix of live drama, laugh-out-loud comedy, toe-tapping music, spine-tingling storytelling, inspiring new writing and much more. From Noël Coward’s razor-sharp satire Easy Virtue to climate justice thriller The Trials, via folk favourites Megson, Flamenco flair, and festive jazz, Headgate Theatre is once again proving itself to be a cultural gem in the heart of Colchester.
Then, from 3 December, it’s time to roll up for some panto magic with Goldilocks and the Three Bears – a sparkling, family-friendly festive treat packed with
laughs, dancing bears, and circus fun for all ages.
