A new season of theatre in the Headgate Studio begins with Jonathan Moore’s disturbing and exhilarating drama TREATMENT. Set in the political and social climate of the early 1980s, Liam is part of a violent Skinhead street gang but wants to escape. Encounters with a young woman and a Catholic priest change his life. Trapped between the two worlds and his loyalty to his dominant older brother Rory, Liam has to choose between the dark allure of violence and the healing power of love. Dealing with themes that are as relevant today as when it was first written, TREATMENT contains scenes of strong violence and extreme language. Not suitable for under 16 s.
