VENUE HIRE CONTRACT

Each hiring is underpinned by a contract, which is sent electronically and is to be signed digitally. The contract which you sign contains the hire dates and times and details which room has been hired. In signing this, you also agree to the terms and conditions of hire and it is important that you read this these terms  carefully, as it sets out the obligations of both parties to the contract.

SAFEGUARDING

Hirers organising events involving young people and/or for adults at risk of harm are expected to have their own safeguarding policy and procedures, and to undertake a visit/risk assessment with the theatre at the time of booking to ensure that all access and changing room requirements can be met. The Headgate Theatre does not supply chaperones for children, or a ‘responsible person’ for adults, to hirers.

LICENCES

It is the responsibility of each hirer to establish whether their production, or individuals within it should be covered by a licence from Essex County Council. Information can be obtained from Essex County Council website

MARKETING INFO FOR HIRERS

The Headgate Theatre will support promotion of a hirer’s events where it can.

We understand that your personal information and privacy is important to you. We make every effort to ensure that the information you share with us is recorded accurately, retained securely and used only according to your wishes.
