Local playwright, actor and director Paul T Davies is also a reviewer of both professional and amateur theatre for BritishTheatre.com and KeepColchesterCool.co.uk. Annually he awards ‘The Paulies’, celebrating amateur theatre in the town. This year, Headgate Theatre Productions and the Headgate Young Company are proud to be listed in the nominations, alongside other local groups who performed at the Headgate or the Mercury.
