Dis Donc! French Drama Club - Beginners Session 1 of 5

Dis donc! is an informal, enjoyable French Language Drama Group devised and led by creative educator Mary of Line and Language.

Come along and join in this series of sessions of sound and movement using French language and drama skills. Engage in a gentle vocal and movement warm up; benefit from (a little) cultural, historical and literary input; and collaborate to create short and relaxed performance pieces.

Performance pieces will arise from traditional tales by Perrault; medieval French literature; and classic twentieth century French language drama.

Sessions are suitable for participants with beginner level French language skills

Theatre Photography can be tricky with varying lighting conditions. This workshop will teach you some techniques to enable you to capture the action on stage with an opportunity to practice at a live rehearsal. Maximum 4 participants. You need to have knowledge of using manual mode, this will be refreshed prior to going into the theatre. Please contact Sally to check camera suitability.

Headgate Workshops

A four day workshop for young people aged 8 to 16.

Poop Poop! Join Mr Toad, Ratty, Badger, Mole and their friends in this madcap riverbank adventure this Easter holiday. Our carefully crafted script gives each participant the chance to shine and have fun, and days are filled with music and dance. Our tutors work to help everybody to develop confidence and teamwork and to use their own particular talents - and our presentations at the end of the week give the youngsters chance to work in a theatre environment. Application forms can be obtained from our Box Office or downloaded from our website. Payment must be made via the Box Office.



Tickets: £100 if booked by 28th February. Bookings after this date £110.
