Fourtissimo: 30 years on

Fourtissimo


The Fourtissimo guitar quartet plays an early evening concert of music written or specially arranged for four guitars. Ian Ridgley, Rod Protheroe, Martin Smith and Christine Garrington last performed together 25 years ago and are reuniting for a special concert to raise money for the blood cancer research charity, Bloodwise.

Five Star Swing


The unique "feel-good" 1940's show, as featured at Dame Vera Lynn's Charity Gala Nights, with original Dad's Army cast! Wartime "sing-a-longs" brought to life by the singers and multi-instrumentalists of the Five Star Swing band, including Simone from Ivy Benson's orchestra plus Chris Smith, composer and arranger for the BBC Radio Big Band.

The Catherine Lima Quartet explore Peggy Lee's rise from humble beginnings in North Dakota, to her first break as a big band singer with Benny Goodman, and her successful solo career as a singer/songwriter and one-time Hollywood actress. Expect hits such as 'Fever', 'I'm A Woman', 'He's A Tramp' and some of the jazz icon's lesser-known back catalogue.
