Platform Musicals perform the work of one the most celebrated musical theatre composers of the 20th Century. With selections from some of Ivor Novello's most popular shows, including "The Dancing Years", "Perchance to Dream" and "King's Rhapsody", the Platform singers will perform much loved songs such as "Waltz of My Heart", "We'll Gather Lilacs" and "Someday My Heart Will Awake". A nostalgic journey back to Novello's musical world of melody and romance that is not to be missed!

A special concert given to support the work of Crohn's and Colitis UK.

40th Anniversary "Well Well said the Rocking Chair" Tour

Dean Friedman

Dean Friedman, one of the pre-eminent songwriters of his generation marks 40 years in the music business. He will be celebrating with the digitally remastered, re-release of his 1978 ground breaking album "Well, Well," said the Rocking Chair' - released April 13th on Real Life Records.

Friedman will be performing solo, on guitar and keyboards, featuring songs from throughout his four decade recording career, including his classic hits: 'Lucky Stars', 'Lydia', 'McDonald's Girl', 'Ariel' and 'Woman of Mine', as well as selections from his last studio album, '12 Songs' - which was fan-funded.

Redefining the Classical Guitar

Gary Ryan

Gary Ryan is one of the world's leading exponents of the guitar and has performed to international critical acclaim for over twenty years, winning praise for his formidable technique, outstanding musicianship and entertainingly diverse programmes.

In 2013 he became the first guitarist since John Williams to be awarded a Fellowship of the Royal College of Music in recognition of his contribution to the instrument (and only the fourth guitarist ever to receive this honour, other recipients being Andrés Segovia and Julian Bream.

His composition Benga Beat, typical of his pioneering approach to using new sonorities and techniques in a thrillingly musical context, has more than 100,000 views on Youtube.
