At the current time the box office is not open to personal callers, and we would ask that you use the secure online booking facility where possible. Other ticket booking options are set out below.
The box office will be staffed on a daily basis except Sundays, but our volunteers or staff may be working remotely. Please bear with us as we adapt to this new way of working.
We appreciate that a number of people are holding credits. The Diary of Anne Frank, Abigail’s Party and Jumpy are all scheduled for our autumn season and we will be contacting you to determine your wishes. Please note that you may exchange your credit for any production in the summer season if you wish.

Here are the ways you can book your tickets. For each ticket bought there is an additional £1 booking fee that supports the running of the theatre.
Please note that the St John’s car park is currently closing at 19:00 Discounted parking tickets are only applicable to St Mary’s or Britannia car parks.
Book your tickets online here and your tickets will be emailed to you for printing at home, (not necessary for socially distanced performances) or for showing to our Front of House staff on your mobile device.
They can be posted to you for an additional fee of £1.75 per booking. This is set by our ticketing provider.

We offer an actively managed telephone answering service and will call you back.
With limited availability of seats for the socially distanced shows we recommend booking using our online services if at all possible.

In line with government policy we are moving to a cashless booking system. If you have difficulty in using a card, then please ring us and we will try and resolve the issue for you.
We do not under normal circumstances offer refunds on the sale of tickets purchased unless a production is sold out. The resale and exchange of tickets may be made in certain circumstances, subject to management discretion.
If you lose your tickets, don’t panic! For socially distanced performances tickets are not required to be shown. For other events, we will ask you a few security questions to make sure that you are the person that bought the tickets and then reprint or re-email them. Please allow plenty of time before the start of the performance for us to do this.
We sell our own gift vouchers, available in any denomination, valid for one year and usable for any ticket purchase at the Headgate Theatre. Unfortunately we are not able to accept National Theatre Tokens. If you have any problems or questions, call us on drop us an email at email@example.com
